OFFICE OF THE PRIMATE
The Holy Byzantine Catholic Orthodox Church Office of the Primate shall be held
by the Archbishop of the Province of The Holy Trinity, San Marino, California.
It shall implement the decisions of the Primus Council and the International
College of Archbishops.
It shall supporting the ministry of the Primate and promoting the unity of the whole
Church.
The Primate of The Americas is the ordinary authority on all matters of doctrine,
worship, pastoral care, church order and discipline within the Church. The duties
of the Primate include:

(d) Speaking God’s Word to the Church and to the world;
(e) Leading The Holy Byzantine Catholic Orthodox Church in the initiation,
development implementation of vision and strategy;
(f) Serving as the chief guardian of the faith and liturgies of the Church;
(g) Visiting the International Territories, National Churches, Provinces and
Dioceses of the Church.
(a) Holding pastoral consultations with the Bishops and Archbishops;
(b) Preaching the Word of God;
(c) Celebrating the Sacraments;
