Thank you for your interest in joining the Holy Byzantine Katholic Orthodox Church via Full Communion, Canonical Transfer or Inter-Communion.
The Holy Synod because of problems with jurisdictions that claim to be Orthodox and yet do not accept or incorporate the fundamental doctrines of Orthodoxy has placed the following Church requirements:
*************** Communion:
If Jurisdiction or Community makes a request to enter into Communion with the Holy Byzantine Katholic Orthodox Church they will be sent a letter requesting that they confirm to the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of Orthodoxy, and if they do then they will be permitted to enter into a one (1) year Interim Statues before entering into Full Communion. The year of Interim Statues will permit both Jurisdictions to make a lasting commitment by the gathering of Primates in order to prevent any future problems and at the same time allow for a smoother transition.
Only those Orthodox Clergy who are in full canonical membership with the Holy Church will be permitted to vote in a canonical synod. Other bishops in inter communion with the Church may with the Metropolitan's permission, attend the synod as observers.

*************** Canonical Transfer
Any member of Heterodox Jurisdictions if requesting to Canonically Transfer will need to serve as a sub-deacon while he takes courses in the Seminary in order for then to understand and accept the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of Orthodoxy. The candidate will need to pass verbal and written examinations in order for the Synod to be convinced that they have accepted the faith 100%. This process is crucial in order to purge all heresies that if are allowed to remain will cause separation within the clergy and members of the Church.
If a jurisdiction or community makes a request to enter into Inter-Communion it will be sent a letter requesting that they conform to the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of Orthodoxy, especially the belief in the actual transformation of the wine and bread into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. If they do then they will be permitted to enter into a six (6) month interim statues that will lead into an Inter-Communion Concordat with the Church.
The interim statues will permit both jurisdictions to make a lasting commitment before entering into Inter-Communion without future problems that can be detrimental to the Church. If they do not qualify because they do not hold the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of Orthodoxy, especially the belief in the actual transformation of the wine and bread into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, then they will be invited to enter into a Round Table Council were they may interact with one another’s Bishops and hopefully walk towards accepting the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of Orthodoxy, especially the belief in the actual transformation of the wine and bread into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Only by speaking with one another can we be able to answer any questions and assist those that are interested in learning about Orthodoxy be able to embrace the Faith.
Bishops in inter-communion with the Church may, with the Metropolitan's permission may attend the synod as observers.
