Our Sacred Traditions are the traditions which have come down from the Holy
Church and Apostles.
The American Church as did the ancient church carefully guards the inward life of
the Holy Church from those outside her embrace. Our Holy Mysteries, Canon Laws,
Apostolic Succession, Liturgical Rites and Tenets are kept from the gaze of those
that are merely curious and who being outside the church and uncommitted, may
easily misunderstand and misinterpret them.
“What harm is it if I shall find out also? Sick people also ask for wine,but if it is given
at the wrong time it produces disorder to the mind, and there are two evil
consequences: the sick one dies, and the physician is slandered” (Catechetical
Lectures chp.12).
Please do not misinterpret our protection of those things that we hold Sacred, we
are a welcoming community and if you are truly interested in the teaching of
Orthodoxy we invite you to come to visit us every 3rd Sunday of the month from 5-6
